About Korvenix

Method Before Momentum

Why we teach the slow, lawful route through records and filings.

Filing cabinets and case documents
REF: KVX/2026/ABOUT.1 — SUBJECT: How This Started

Korvenix began after a small group of reporters kept hitting the same wall: knowing a record existed, but not knowing the correct channel to obtain it lawfully. What started as informal notes passed between newsroom colleagues became a structured practice.

We are based in Nairobi and work with journalists, researchers, and civic organisations across Kenya, always within the bounds of what is publicly accessible and properly requested.

Nothing we teach depends on shortcuts. It depends on knowing exactly where the register sits, exactly who to ask, and exactly how to read what comes back.

Three Pillars

01

Lawfulness

Every method we teach uses an access route that already exists in law — nothing improvised, nothing borrowed from grey areas.

02

Traceability

Every claim should point to a numbered source. If it can't, it isn't ready to publish.

03

Patience

Good records work rarely moves fast. We build schedules around what the work actually needs, not an artificial deadline.
